Springfield Parish Centre, Chelmsford

Springfield Parish Centre on St Augustine's Way in Springfield, Chelmsford, is run by Springfield Parish Council and has several rooms for hire. For children's parties, the Boleyn Room is the usual choice: it measures 7m x 12m (23ft x 39ft), holds around 50 people, and has its own small kitchen with a kettle and fridge, plus its own toilets suitable for people with mobility issues. The larger Bowers Hall holds up to 150 seated or 180 standing.

Bouncy castles at Springfield Parish Centre

The centre says the Boleyn Room has enough space for a bouncy castle. Its hire terms allow inflatables indoors only with the Parish Clerk's prior consent, and require equipment with a PIPA safety certificate. All our inflatables carry PIPA tags, so when you book the room, tell the centre your castle is coming from Cottles Castles and ask for the Clerk's consent.

The centre doesn't publish the Boleyn Room's ceiling height. These castles need a ceiling of 10ft or less; if you're unsure, ask the centre or give us a call:

Soft play and ball pits fit under any ceiling and suit the room well for toddler parties.
